HIV and AIDS

The council works in partnership with Ashton, Leigh and Wigan Primary Care Trust, and Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh NHS Trust to provide confidential advice and support to people living with or affected by HIV or AIDS and their families.

This includes:

  • developing local services with the voluntary sector to make them more accessible
  • providing information about sexual health and local services
  • consulting with users of services about improvements and gaps in services.
