Training is an important component in providing better quality of services, promoting inclusion and increasing knowledge and understanding. We are continuing to work with the Learning and Development Team to commission disability specific training for both professionals and parents.

E-learning
In addition to the training above, there is a package of e-learning modules available (.pdf, 834KB). There are 41 modules available, covering a wide range of workforce related topics which have been developed by KIDS. Each module has the opportunity for accreditation. KIDS is a member of the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC) steering group for the short break workforce.
The modules are accessible at any time and are presented in a very user-friendly manner with specified learning outcomes clearly defined at the beginning of each module.
