Here at Fourways we support people who have acquired brain injuries, physical disabilities or sensory impairments. Our aim is to help people to be as independent as possible and take an active part in their local community.

An acquired brain injury can result from an accident or a medical condition such as a stroke and result in a wide range of debilitating circumstances.

Physical disabilities include conditions such as spinal injuries and cerebral palsy.

Typical examples of sensory impairment are loss of speech, reduced vision and hearing.

We provide services for both people living at Fourways and day visitors through structured programmes and are focused on

  • Transition to the Community
  • Structured social activities
  • Short term breaks
