Bryn Children's Centre will be opening in Autumn 2008 and will be built in the grounds of Bryn St Peter's CE Primary School. The brand new facilities will offer a baby and toddler room, a pre school room and an activity room which will be available for hire.
The aim of the centre will be to provide a friendly, caring and supportive environment for children and their families.
The centre will open Monday to Friday from 8am to 6pm, 51 weeks of the year. As the centre develops it will also be open evenings and Saturdays to meet the needs of the local community.
What will the centre offer?
- Full and half day care combined with early education for children aged 0 - 5
- Access to services and activities such as Book Start Rhyme Time, Physibodies, Pram Pushes, Parent and Toddler Group, Parenting Courses, Parents / Carers Forum to name but a few
- Family support and parental outreach will be available
- Signposting to a range of services and access to the Children's Information Service
- Opportunities to access advice from Job Centre Plus along with information about training
