The centre supports children in their development the team values and promotes partnership working with parents, carers, and the wider community. As part of the Children’s Centre we have a brand new 'space' themed play area at St.Thomas’ School, which is open outside school hours during term time and open to everyone with facilities for children aged 0-11 years.
What does Ashton Children’s Centre offer?
A wide range of good quality activities and services are available in the centre such as:
- Nursery Provision, Breakfast Club, After School Care, and Holiday Club delivered by the YMCA.
- Coffee Club, which has a small children’s play area, and access to computers.
- Family support and parental outreach is available along with links to child and family health services.
- Information from Job Centre Plus & Children’s Information Service can be accessed in the centre.

- Glitter Babies (ballet and tap for children aged 2 - 4)
- Proscore Academy (toddler soccer for children aged 3 - 5)
- Jo-Jingles the Music and Movement experience for children up to the age of 5
