Wigan Local Access Forum

The Wigan Local Access Forum (LAF) is an independent statutory body set up under the Countryside & Rights of Way Act 2000 to advise Wigan Borough Council and other bodies on issues of access and the implementation of the Rights of Way Improvement Plan.

It consists of between 12 and 20 members from a variety of interest groups including, walkers, cyclists, equestrians, disabled users and landowners.

To join the LAF you must apply for membership as set out in the regulations governing it.
