- Current lease agreement
- Recent utility bill (not more than 4 months old)
- Certificate of incorporation for limited companies if the registered office of the business is at the CPZ address
- A copy of a business bank statement
- Copies of invoices received or sent to the business address
- Inland Revenue tax returns
- A certificate detailing the registration number and address for registered charities
- A letter from the business rate payer (if current lease is not available)
Business Necessity
Applicants must provide letter headed stationery from a company representative confirming the vehicle is necessary for the efficient running of the business.
Employment
If a vehicle is registered to an employee then proof of employment is required in the form of either a contract of employment or two recent wage slips.
Vehicle Ownership
On application either the vehicle registration document or a copy of the hire/lease agreement must be produced. If the vehicle has recently been purchased a bill of sale or insurance cover note will be sufficient.
Any documentation submitted as proof of vehicle ownership must show the name of the company or company employee. Where a vehicle is registered in the name of the business it will be acceptable if the address shown on the documentation is for its head office.
Application
Permits can be applied for by post or in person.
If applying by post please include your payment by company cheque/postal order or credit card (payment must be made by the business/employee) and supporting documentation.
If applying in person please bring the completed application form and proof documents.
You must include proof of business address and vehicle ownership/lease — photocopies are acceptable.
