They are intended for use by long stay visitors to properties within the CPZ. The permits are NOT vehicle specific and can therefore be used on any singular vehicle. These permits will only be issued to bona fide residents. The permits are valid for a maximum of 12 months and are subject to the zone's renewal and expiry dates.
If issued after the CPZ’s annual renewal date, the permits will still expire when the next renewal date is reached and not 12 months from the permit's issue.
Entitlement
Each household may purchase ONE annual visitors permit. The applicant's address must be within the individual CPZ for which the permit is being applied. You do not have to drive or own a vehicle to obtain an annual visitor permit.
Permit cost
The cost of an annual visitor permit is £17.50. This is discounted by 50% to residents who hold disabled blue badges, are aged over 60 years or to churches.
