Shopmobility is a registered charity which provides wheelchairs and powered scooters for people to use around Wigan and Leigh town centres (there are also smaller facilities in Ashton and Atherton). They are available for people who have difficulty walking for any reason, either temporary or permanent. Shopmobility also provides a shoppers volunteer escort service for people who have visual impairments.

Ring and Ride provides a door-to-door accessible minibus service for people of all ages who find it difficult to use 'ordinary' transport.

Wigan and District Community Transport provides transport for groups who find it difficult to use public transport. The service is available 7-days a week, and they have 8 wheelchair accessible buses.

The Adult Services transport section provides transport to people who use its day centres. They also hire buses to voluntary groups.
