Unfortunately items in your black bin will not be recycled. Please ensure you recycle as much as possible using your Blue, Brown and Green bins.

 

 

Food waste recycling news

From April 2012, we'll be rolling out a new food recycling scheme with the introduction of silver household caddies which can be kept in your kitchen.  You will then be able to recycle the following items:

  • bread and pastries
  • dairy
  • fish
  • food waste
  • fruit and vegetables
  • meat and bones
  • teabags and coffee grounds.
