Waste and Recycling Collections Update:
All waste and recycling collection services are operating as normal.
Due to the recent adverse weather, Christmas tree collections have been delayed. Residents should keep hold of their tree until normal green waste collections resume from Monday February 15 or take it to the nearest Household Waste Recycling Centre.
We now collect on Bank Holiday Mondays
Please put your bins and sacks out by 7am on your normal collection day.

Recycling
Recycling dramatically reduces the amount of waste going into our landfill sites. The council offers around 150 local recycling centres, and fortnightly collections of some materials from residents' homes. A new service of dry recyclables (glass, cans, plastics) is being trialled in some areas this spring. Please follow the link below to find out more information about your nearest recycling centre, garden waste, as well as advice and ideas.
Please recycle as much as you can - there's a facility for glass, cans and other materials within a mile of most homes. Ensure your bins and bag are not overfilled and are out at the edge of your property by 7.00am on your regular collection day. Monday Bank Holiday collections will now take place on their normal day.
