Public Health

Public Health Teams are based in Wigan and Leigh and are responsible for:

  • Neighbour noise complaints such as noise from stereos, DIY, dogs, house alarms, car alarms.
  • Domestic pollution complaints of garden bonfires, smoking house chimneys, etc.
  • Private drainage such as blocked, defective and overflowing house drains.
  • Accumulation of rubbish causing a nuisance by smells, rodents etc.
