This area includes The Galleries and Marketgate centres, Mesnes Playing Fields and Lower Standishgate.
The findings of the study have been endorsed by the council's Cabinet on 18 October 2007.
Issues and Options - Public Consultation
Wigan Council recently published its consultation document on the Northern Crescent. The public were invited to submit their comments and ideas on a wide range of issues which affect the area.
The consultation period has now closed and we would like to thank all those who responded. A summary of the results can be viewed here.
The comments which we have received will all be assessed in greater detail and will form the basis for the following stages in the process.
