The aims of this course are:
- To outline the statutory duties of management to evaluate hazards, and minimise the risks of injury to staff and pupils
- To provide a management tool to carry out and evaluate the potential risk of a hazard
- To provide awareness of the Legal, Financial and Moral requirements of the assessment process
By the end of the session you will be able to:
- Ensure as far as is reasonably practicable that activities and other work undertaken by staff, pupils and others is safe
- Influence the development of appropriate control measures for the safe management of the school
