Safer Recruitment on-line training has been developed in response to the Bichard Inquiry report following the Soham Inquiry and is currently provided by the Children's Workforce Development Council (CWDC)
This is a facilitated session during which officers from the local authority can support you in completing computer based training and final assessment.
The training will:
- Provide valuable information on a safer school culture, and advice and guidance to strengthen safeguards against employing unsuitable people in schools
- Help schools demonstrate that they have effective recruitment and selection processes in place that ensure learners are both well taught and protected
