The aims of this course are:

To gain an understanding of how schools are funded

To raise awareness of the budget setting process

To understand the importance of planning in relation to school finances
- To have a knowledge of financial benchmarking for schools
After the session you will:

Have the required knowledge and awareness of governor responsibilities in this area

Be able to ensure that the strategic use of school resources takes place

Have practical knowledge of the financial benchmarking tool for schools
