- A brief introduction to the big thinkers of our time in terms of learning styles.
- Exploring learning styles in a practical way.
- Looking at ways of profiling and applying tools within the training sessions!
- Looking at the effects and benefits of being more aware of learning styles.
The Brain
- Discovering facts about the brain that you may not have known before!
- Looking at ways in which we can use our brain more effectively in learning!
- Exploring ways in which we can simplify the brain and its functions in order to show a younger audience.
- Encouraging the use of brain gym within a learning environment.
- Developing co-ordination skills and nurturing reflexes.
Chill Skills
- •Looking at stress and how it manifests.
- Exploring ways of combating stress.
- Looking at basic aromatherapy and its use within the learning environment
- Investigating the use of basic hand massage.
- Trying out visualisation and relaxation to aid concentration, focus and memory.
- Use of relax cards, star cards, juicy cards / statements.
Philosophy for Children
- Looking at new ways of promoting speaking and listening styles.
- Exploring the use of a communicative inquiry as a way of promoting discussion.
- Investigating evaluation techniques for discussion and debate.
- Experimenting with different kinds of stimulus.
Emotional Intelligence
- Looking at the intelligence or skill required that allows us to perceive, assess and positively influence one’s own and other people’s emotions.
- Exploring our emotions and being able to express these to others in different ways.
