Special Education Needs Placements in Mainstream School

If your child has special education needs but no statement:

• you should apply for a school place through the school placements team
• If we cannot offer your child a place at the school you want, we will offer you the right of appeal

If your child has a Statement of Special Education Needs for mainstream school:

• you should apply for a place through the school placements team
• if we cannot offer your child a place at you want the Special Education Needs Team will advise you about your right to appeal
