The Learning Centre

The Professional Development Centre from Park Road
The Learning Centre  is the council's newly developed Learning & Development facility in Hindley. You may have already visited the Professional Development Centre (PDC) for meetings or training.  This council-wide training venue is being developed to offer high quality facilities for learners.

The facilities include:

  • A lecture theatre with a capacity of 60
  • 2 dedicated ICT suites (1 with 20 workstations and 1 with 12 workstations)
  • 6 fully equipped training rooms
  • 1 meeting room (maximum capacity 12)
  • Video conferencing
  • A comfortable lounge with vending machines is available to visitors during the day
  • The provision of a range of lunches at competitive prices
  • Extensive car parking
