Professional Development Centre

The Professional Development Centre (PDC) is being transferred to the unified Learning and Development Team with effect from 8 November 2009.  In the New Year the transformation will be finalised by the launch of the Learning Hub as the official central learning point for staff.

The facilities include:

  • A lecture theatre with a capacity of 60
  • 2 dedicated ICT suites (1 with 20 workstations and 1 with 12 workstations)
  • 4 fully equipped training rooms
  • 1 meeting room (maximum capacity 12)
  • Video conferencing
  • A comfortable lounge serving complimentary refreshments to visitors during the day
  • The provision of a range of buffet lunches at competitive prices
  • Extensive car parking with on-site evening security.
