Purchasing a musical instrument can be very expensive and it is unwise for parents to make a purchase before they are sure of their child’s suitability and commitment to their chosen instrument. Parents of pupils learning through the Instrumental Teaching Service are able to hire an instrument at very competitive rates through the Instrument Hire Scheme. Instruments can be hired per term or per year. Details of hire charges can be found below:
Instruments must be collected and signed for in person at the Performing Arts Centre, Park Rd, Hindley, Wigan, WN2 3RY. Please contact the service on 01942 776169 to reserve your instrument before you visit us. Payment can either be made in cash or a cheque made out to ‘Wigan Council’ and is paid upon collection.
