Sure Start Children's Centres are located across the Wigan Borough with the aim to giving every child the best possible start in life by helping improve the lives of children, families and communities.
There are currently 17 Children’s Centres based around the borough in areas of greatest need. Many are attached to primary or nursery schools and when this is the case, the Headteacher of the school is also the Children’s Centre manager.
