A free micro blogging service that allows users to send and read other users updates. Wigan Council will tweet about news, events, service information, alerts, campaigns and more.

A free online video sharing application. Wigan Council uses Youtube to share videos about the work we do, events and the people of the Borough.

Most online communities have their own rules and guidelines, which we will always follow. We reserve the right to remove any contributions that break the rules or guidelines of the relevant community, or any of the following:

• Be civil, tasteful, relevant and no bad language please
• Do not post messages that are unlawful, libellous, harassing, defamatory, abusive, threatening, harmful, obscene, profane, sexually orientated or racially offensive
• Do not publicise your, or anyone else's, personal information, such as contact details
