Wigan Council has pleged to do away with needless jargon and gobbledygook in its dealings with the public.
Many of the leaflets, letters and forms produced by council employees are now checked to make sure they are easy to read, and likely to be understood by the audience they are intended for. But we know there's still some way to go - which is where you can help.
If you know of a council form or letter, that you think is hard to understand or full of unnecessary jargon, let us know. We want to learn from our mistakes and make sure we are crystal clear in all our communication.
