Council Tax

You have to pay Council Tax for most domestic properties. This includes properties that are included to be someone's home and caravans and houseboats that are used as homes.

Important message for households in Haigh and Shevington Parish areas

Please note that the % annual change in the precept charge for both Haigh Parish Council and Shevington Parish Council was incorrectly stated on Council Tax bills for 2013/2014 issued on 20 March 2013.

The Haigh Parish Council total precept has been decreased by 36.73%.

The Shevington Parish Council total precept has been reduced by 0.6%.

The amount of the precept charge was correctly stated on each bill. This error does not affect the amount payable on the bill which remains valid. But we apologise for any confusion this error may cause.
