That’s great news for people who are blind or partially-sighted, but the people who make it happen need your support. Leigh-based Making Waves is a not-for-profit group run by a group of dedicated volunteers. They are on the look-out for more volunteers to help at their Church Street HQ.
Making Waves’ Edith Coleman says: “We love what we do, but to stay in business and plan for the future we need more support.
“If there’s anybody out there who can lend a hand, either here at the office or through fund-raising, we’d love to hear from you.”
