Walk-in Centre

Situated at Leigh Infirmary, the centre offers fast and convenient access to healthcare advice, information and treatment.

No appointment is necessary and the centre is open from 7am-9pm seven days a week, including the holiday period.

The walk-in centre offers:

Treatment for minor injuries and illnesses, e.g. strains and sprains, wounds, cuts, sore throat and ear infections
Assessment by an experienced NHS nurse
Advice on how to stay healthy
Information on local out-of-hours GP and dental services
Information on local pharmacy services
Emergency contraception

The centre provides help where and when you need it, without you having to make an appointment, take time off work or re-arrange your day. Tel. 01942 264000.
