31 Minutes: The minutes of the meeting of this Committee held on 13 November 2009 were approved as a correct record.
32 Operation Nightsafe – Evening visit to Public Houses: The Committee considered a report of the Interim Executive Director of Environmental Services, Gillian Bishop, presented by The Principal Officer - Crime & Community, Terry Gregson, which informed Members about a joint task force operation in December 2009 to monitor Public Houses across the borough.
The pilot operation was successful and the visits were found to be of value and ensured that standards were being maintained in the busy Christmas period. It was planned that further Operation Nightsafe inspection would take place throughout the year.
Resolved: The Committee notes the report and thanks the Officers for their hard work.
