20 Progress report – consultation with Trade Unions and staff communications: The Executive Director of Business Support Services reported on changes to the proposals on terms and conditions and outlined the position that was to be the subject of consultation with staff direct.
Members received details of the business case for the amendments to terms and conditions and a risk assessment in relation to the proposals. Details of the arrangements to consult with staff were discussed.
Concern was expressed by Members about staff contacting members direct on individual cases and reference was made to the protocol on Member/Staff Relations.
Agreed: The Panel notes report and accepts the action taken by officers in these matters.
