11 Feedback on consultation with Trade Unions: The Executive Director of Business Support Services updated Members on the negotiations which had taken place with the Trade Unions under restricted negotiations procedures. A joint communication was to be issued by the Council and the Trade Unions to all staff. It was reported that requests for further information had been received from the Unions and relevant steps were being taken to meet such requests. The programme was under review. Members accepted this, but cautioned against unwarranted delays.
Agreed: The Panel notes the report.

12 Equal pay proceedings: The Panel considered a report of the Service Director - Borough Solicitor which informed Members of the current position in relation to equal pay proceedings.
Agreed: The Panel:
- notes the current position; and
- agrees that the process of negotiating settlements should be continued.
