11 Review of a premises licence following a police closure order – Last Orders, Elliot Street, Tyldesley: The Licensing Sub-Committee convened to review the premises licence for Last Orders, Elliot Street, Tyldesley.
The Licensing Officer’s report set out the relevant details.
The review was called (as required by statute) following a closure order made by Greater Manchester Police on 10th February 2008 and a closure order made at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ court on 20th February 2008 with a proviso that the premises should remain closed until such time as the conditions attached to the closure order were satisfied.
P C Liptrot and a legal representative for Greater Manchester Police attended the review and answered questions
The designated premises supervisor and her representative attended the review and answered questions.
Resolved: The Sub-Committee endorses the new conditions proposed by the police and offered by the licence holder and resolves that these be placed permanently on the premises licence.
