5 Appointment of Service Director – Wigan Schools for the Future, Children and Young People’s Services Department: The Committee considered applications for the post of Service Director – Wigan Schools for the Future in the Children and Young People’s Services Department.
Resolved: The Committee agrees:
- to invite 6 applicants for the post of Service Director – Wigan Schools for the Future in the Children and Young People’s Services Department to an assessment centre;
- to delegate power to the Chairman of the Committee and the Director of Children and Young People’s Services Department to eliminate applications based on performance; and
- to hold interviews with the final short listed candidates on Wednesday 20 February 2008.
