8 Appointment of Service Director – Wigan Schools for the Future, Children and Young People’s Services Department: The Committee interviewed the shortlisted candidates for the post of Service Director – Wigan Schools for the Future in the Children and Young People’s Services Department.
Resolved: Subject to the Chief Executive notifying every Member of the Executive of the name of the candidate (and any other relevant particulars) and the period within which any objection is to be made by the Executive Leader, and no objection being received, the Committee authorises the offer of the post of Service Director – Wigan Schools for the Future in the Children and Young People’s Services Department to Janet Newton, presently Assistant Director/BSF at Lancashire County Council.
