6 Business Support Services and Chief Executive’s Departments: The Committee interviewed the shortlisted candidates for the following posts:-
- Service Director - Corporate Services, Business Support Services Department;
- Service Director - Customer Services, Business Support Services Department; and
- Service Director - Customer Transformation, Chief Executive's Department.
Resolved: (1) Subject to the Chief Executive notifying every Member of the Executive of the name of the candidate (and any other relevant particulars) and the period within which any objection is to be made by the Executive Leader, and no objection being received, the Committee authorises:-
- the offer of the post of Service Director - Corporate Services, Business Support Services Department to Paul McKevitt, presently Head of Performance and Resource Management Division, Environmental Services Department at Wigan MBC;and
- the offer of the post of Service Director - Customer Transformation, Chief Executive's Department to Steve Peddie, presently Assistant Director, Performance and Delivery, Adult Services Department at Wigan MBC.
(2) The Committee makes no appointment to the post of Service Director - Customer Services, Business Support Services Department.
