47 Application to renew a private hire vehicle licence: The Committee considered a report which advised Members of an application for the renewal of a private hire vehicle driver licence. The Committee was advised that a report had previously been considered on the applicant’s conduct as a holder of a private hire driver licence (Minute 34 refers).
The Committee was advised that in determining the application, Members must consider the application on its own merits and take account that the Committee had already dealt with the applicant’s conduct at their meeting held on 10 August 2007.
The applicant of the vehicle attended the meeting and answered questions.
Resolved: The Committee grants the licence, with a final warning as to the driver’s future conduct.
