6 Application for the grant of a permit under Section 34 of the Gaming Act 1968 – The use of machines for gambling at alcohol licensed premises: This item was withdrawn.
7 Application for a new premises licence – Grand Arcade, Crompton Street, Wigan: The Chairman agreed to consider the following item as an urgent item, the special circumstance being the need to obviate any delay.
The Committee considered a report which advised Members of an application that had been received for a premises licence at the Grand Arcade, Crompton Street, Wigan. A representation had been received in respect of the application from Greater Manchester Police but has since been agreed and withdrawn.
The Committee was advised that as there were now no representations in respect of the application, it must be granted.
Resolved: The Committee grants the application.
8 Application for a new premises licence – Snax Express, Scholes Precinct, Wigan: The Chairman agreed to consider the following item as an urgent item, the special circumstance being the need to obviate any delay.
The Committee considered a report which advised Members of an application that had been received for a premises licence at Snax Express, Scholes Precinct, Wigan. A representation had been received in respect of the application but has since been withdrawn.
The Committee was advised that as there were now no representations in respect of the application, it must be granted.
