Bonjour et Bienvenue, Welcome!!!
Let us introduce ourselves...
- Patrick King, your ambassador from Wigan (bottom picture)
- Pierre Macé, your ambassador from Angers (top picture).
From October 1st 2009 until September 30th 2010, we will be representing our respective home towns, Angers and Wigan. Based in Angers, Patrick will be the main contact of the Angevins while Pierre, who works in Wigan will be in touch with the Wiganers.
Our Role
We are here to provide support to your twinning needs in order to develop new links between Angers and Wigan. We do promote our home towns and their culture a bit (we can make group presentations about a subject in relation with your twin town and its country), but mostly what we do is promote their long and lasting friendship by helping you find partners in your twin city, develop your exchange project, communicate with them so the language is no barrier, organise a trip across the Channel…
Because Twinning is Yours...
The twinning of the two towns relies on your involvement, so if you have any project or enquiry, don’t hesitate to contact us. We will be very pleased to help you in any way we can, whether you need linguistic support, need help to find transport or accommodation, or if you need help creating links and organising an exchange.

Whoever you are (an individual, a school, a company, a football club or a philatelic society!) and whatever your interest in France or your twin town is, we hope that you will be able to benefit from this opportunity, just as thousands of others have done in the past. Just ask and rely on us!
