Community Legal Services Partnership

Wigan Community Legal Services Partnership (WCLSP) is a network of quality marked organisations that offers information, help and advice. This can range from specialist legal advice to self-help leaflet racks. The partnership has representatives from the council, service providers from across the borough, local funding organisations and the Legal Services Commission.
WCLSP is part of the Community Legal Service (CLS) which is a national government body. The aim of the CLS is to make advice and legal services more accessible to those who need them. It is about ensuring people can access information and help about their legal rights and understand how to enforce them in the right place at the right time.
