The Citizens Advice Service provides information and advice on a range of issues, including:

  • Housing
  • Consumer
  • Employment
  • Asylum and Immigration
  • Family and Personal Matters

It provides practical support in helping people to resolve their issues by, for example, completing forms, drafting letters and negotiating with third parties.

Home visiting is available by appointment only. Outreach sessions take place at Ashton-in-Makerfield and Atherton. For more details call 01942 241113 (Ashton) or 01942 267963 (Atherton).
