We hold registrations of marriages from 1837 - to date and we can supply copies of these records.
Current fees are:-
£20 (cash or card only) same day priority service, applied for in person at Wigan Town Hall and available within 2 hours.
£12 (card payment only non priority service, applied for via our contact centre tele. 01942 705000 is available and the certificate is posted out within 48 hours.
We can only supply certificates for marriages that occurred in the Wigan and Leigh area.
For a marriage certificate we will require full names of the parties married and the date and place of marriage.
