Animal Feed Registration

Wigan Trading Standards has a duty to enforce the "EC Feed Hygiene Regulations 183/2005.  Records are kept of registered or approved businesses in the Wigan Council area.

We are involved in the inspection, sampling and monitoring of production and storage of animal feedstuffs to ensure they are wholesome and not harmful to either the animal or the human food chain.
