A multi-million pound refurbishment and pedestrianised scheme has transformed the town centre in recent years and shoppers have welcomed the improvements.

Wigan Life Centre
The Wigan Life Centre will be a one-stop shop for all public services delivered in the borough by the council and its partners. Public services will be located in three zones – Healthy Living, Information and Learning and Neighbourhoods. There will also be a new 25-metre swimming pool and central library.
