What is The Regeneration Fund?
The Regeneration Fund Programme aims to implement elements of Wigan borough’s Neighbourhood Renewal Strategy which concentrates resources on areas of deprivation around the Wigan Urban Core and focuses on three themes:

- Environmental
- Community

With the agreement of the North West Development Agency, this document sets out the delivery plan (.pdf, 200kb) for Wigan Borough’s Regeneration Fund Programme.
This programme builds upon and develops the existing One Stop for Regeneration SRB6 Programme. It expands this programme by bringing in a wider range of economic development initiatives to support the existing initiatives at Westwood Park and within the communities of Worsley Mesnes, Norley Hall and Ince. It will operate in the same programme boundaries.
Progress reports SRB5 and joint SRB 6 / Regeneration programmes
As part of the monitoring procedure of programmes each project manager/officer is committed to supplying us with a quarterly progress report on the project they are responsible for. This report is presented to the quarterly board meetings held throughout the year.
Performance Review SRB 5 / SRB 6 and Regeneration
This document gives a detailed breakdown of projects that have received funding from the SRB 5/SRB 6 and Regeneration programmes. It shows the amount of approved funding given to each project throughout the lifetime of the programmes.

What does the Delivery Plan do?
This Delivery Plan has been drawn up and agreed by the Chairs and Vice Chairs of the boards of ‘Atherton Building Communities’ and ‘One Stop for Regeneration’. Each board has accepted the responsibility for the management of the themes through the accountable body, Wigan Council.
