When choosing your wedding breakfast, choose three courses from the Banquet menu.  The price of the main course includes the starter or soup, desert, and tea or coffee served with mint (all prices are per head)

Starters

  • Mixed Melon Ball trio served in sparkling wine and garnished with mint (v)
  • Pate Maison served with cumberland chutney and toasted ciabatta
  • Poached Salmon served with Swedish sauce on a bed of peppery leaves
  • Slow roasted moonblushed cherry tomatoes, goats cheese and mint salad (v)
  • Pan-fried mushrooms in a garlic and cream sauce served with French bread (v)
  • Succulent prawns presented on a bed of salad in a pool of cocktail sauce served with brown Granary bread and butter

Main Course: Roast options

  • Roasted top-side of beef served with Yorkshire pudding and a rich roast gravy £25.75
  • Roast chump of lamb infused with garlic, honey and rosemary £27.25
  • Roasted loin of pork sliced and served with homemade apple sauce and cider gravy £25.75

Main Course: Chicken options

  • Poached or pan-fried plump breast of chicken served with a choice of homemade sauces: forestiere, white or red wine sauce, peppercorn £24.25
  • Succulent chicken breast fillet stuffed with a tapenade of spinach, sundried tomatoes and mozzarella napped with a rich tomato sauce £24.25

Main Course: Fish options

  • Paupiettes of plaice filled with a salmon and prawn mousse napped with a champagne sauce £25.75
  • Poached fillet of salmon finished with a dill and white wine cream sauce or champ and watercress £25.75
  • Cod loin with lemon butter sauce and chargrilled asparagus £25.75

Main Course: Vegetarian options

  • Wild mushroom and pepper stroganoff flamed with brandy and served with a timbale of rice £24.25
  • Caramelised red onion, pear and fig tartlet £24.25
  • Filo pastry basket filled with shi-taki mushrooms in a creamy sauce topped with aubergine crisps £24.25

Locally sourced vegetables and potatoes served with all main courses.

Desserts

  • Chocolate profiteroles filled with fresh cream and decorated with continental white chocolate
  • Individual fresh fruit cheesecake served on a pool of fruit coulis and fresh cream
