The Ceremony
Wigan Town Hall is one of the borough's most stylish venues for any Special Occasion. The building has a purpose designed ceremony room, the Atrium. To book a ceremony please contact the Registrars.
The Atrium
The Atrium is a unique room with a transparent 'solar' roof which allows light to flood in, creating a breathtaking setting. Around the wall are plaques bearing the names of Wigan's Mayors dating back to the 13th Century and the whole room exudes a sense of history.
The Charter Suite
The Charter Suite in which replica copies of the borough's royal charters adorn the walls offers an ideal location for your wedding reception or other occasion. Capable of hosting up to 200 guests in beautiful surroundings with it's own comfortable bar and mezzanine area. Whatever your requirements, our experienced staff know just what's needed to make every occasion special.
