We have a programme of planned risk based inspections that fall 'due' in the year and our inspection priorities are consistent with and reflect the Health and Safety Commission (HSC) and Local Authorities Enforcement Liaison Committee (HELA) advice concerning risk based assessment standards.
Health, Safety and Welfare at Work Complaints and Service Requests
Requests for service are frequently concerned with work related accidents, poor working conditions and unsafe working practices. Once again our response is determined by risk, that is the ability or the likelihood of condition, circumstances or complaint to adversely affect the health and safety of employees, members of the public and other third parties.
