Food Safety and Hygiene
We have a programme of planned risk based inspections that fall 'due' in the year and our inspection priorities are consistent with the nationally agreed risk based assessment standard.
Some of our inspections involve businesses operating outside normal office hours, late night restaurants and fast food outlets etc and we programme these businesses for inspection during their hours of opening.
Food Safety Complaints and Food Hygiene Service Requests
We deal with food and food related complaints. Our response is determined by risk, that is the ability or the likelihood of condition, circumstances or complaint adversely affecting food safety and/or public health.
We can provide information and advice about food safety, food hygiene and other food related matters and we will deliver food hygiene training if demand is sufficient.
