| Tariff One. Hiring begun after 6.00 a.m & before 11.00 p.m |
| If the distance does not exceed 408 yards (approx. 373 metres) for the whole distance: |

| For each subsequent 97 yards (approx.88.7 metres) or uncompleted part thereof: |

| Waiting Time: For each period of 29 seconds or uncompleted part thereof: |

| Tariff Two. Hiring begun after 11.00 p.m & before 6.00 a.m or begun on any Bank Holiday other than those in tariff three |
| If the distance does not exceed 408 yards (approx. 373 metres) for the whole distance: |

| For each subsequent 78 yards (approx. 71 metres) or uncompleted part thereof: |

| Waiting Time: For each period of 23 seconds or uncompleted part thereof: |

| Tariff Three. Hiring begun after 7.00 p.m on 24 December & before 6.00 a.m on 27 December & hiring made after 7.00 p.m on 31 December & before 6.00 a.m on 2 January |

| For each subsequent 48.5 yards (approx. 44 metres) or uncompleted part thereof: |

| Extra Charges |
| (a) Where five or more persons hire a vehicle licensed to carry that number of passengers, there may be charged for each passenger over four, the sum of: |
£1.00p |
| (c) A charge of £30.00 may be made for the soiling of the vehicle by travel sickness brought on by alcohol or drugs or for the soiling of the vehicle by animals carried in it. |

Any complaints in relation to a hackney carriage vehicle or driver should be made together with the licence number of the vehicle and / or driver to the Licensing Manager using the contact details below.
