Family Service Directory

The family service directory is an easy-to-use, online directory of services for children, young people aged 0-19 (up to 24 years for those with additional needs) and their families.

The family service directory (external link) enables you to access information 24 hours a day about the range of services available in the Wigan Borough, whether you’re looking for somewhere to go, something to do or someone to listen. The directory includes information on: leisure activities, family support, children’s centres, education (including special educational needs), health services and other specialist services.

Information for parents and carers on local organisations and services including:

  • Parenting support
  • Health services
  • Leisure and family activities
  • Support for disabled children
  • Education and learning
  • Children’s centres
  • Work and training

The family service directory replaces Help4me, the children’s service directory.
