Children and Young People's Services have a online children's service directory called Help4Me.
Help4Me is an easy to use online service directory to help parents, carers and professionals to find the services they need both locally and nationally for children and young people aged 0 - 19 years (and up to 24 for those with additional needs) in the Wigan Borough.
It aims to provide information about a wide range of services for children including local authority, health, leisure, voluntary and community, private and national services.
Children and Young People Services subscribed to Help4Me to meet the new duty placed on local authorities in Section 12 of the Childcare Act 2006, to provide information on all local services for children and young people aged 0 - 19 years (and up to 24 for those with additional needs).
How to use Help4Me
When looking for a service on Help4Me, select Wigan Borough in the area drop down menu and type in some words to describe the service you are looking for and / or click an option from the category list. Alternatively you can search by postcode with a radius of 1 / 5 / 10 miles, this can be used with keywords or categories.
