Access to free e-books, audio books and e-magazines is available to all Wigan library card holders. If you do not have a library card please see:

To register for our e-books, audiobooks or e-magazines services you will need an up-to-date email address, your membership number and PIN. If you have forgotten your membership number or PIN or need to update your email address, you can contact the libraries team.

You can use Borrowbox to browse, borrow and read or listen to eBooks, eAudiobooks and eMagazines anywhere and everywhere.

From 1 June Borrowbox will replace Libby/Overdrive as our eMagazine provider.  You will be able to access the very best eAudiobooks, eBooks and eMagazines for free all in one place via Borrowbox, our library app!

Providing digital shelves you can swipe through, BorrowBox offers amazing digital content at the click of a button – plus, it’s completely free with your library membership. 

By simply downloading the app and logging in with your Library ID, you will gain access to eAudiobooks, eBooks and eMagazines to enjoy wherever you are. 

Easy-to-use and lots of fun, BorrowBox will allow you to access the world’s best stories, anywhere and everywhere. 

There are no fines and you're able to borrow an unlimited number of magazines to keep for as long as you like.
